This guide is for car owners seeking an effective and pleasant-smelling windscreen washer fluid. The CarPlan Orange Fragranced Screenwash offers powerful cleaning for dirt and insect residue while providing a fresh interior scent, though its concentrated nature requires careful dilution to avoid damage. It's a versatile additive designed to keep your windscreen clear in various conditions and prevent freezing.

For normal summer conditions, add 25% concentrated screenwash to 75% water. For a 4-liter mixture, this means 1 liter of screenwash and 3 liters of water.
In winter, increase the concentration to 50% screenwash and 50% water. For severe winter conditions, the screenwash can be used neat (undiluted).
Using the screenwash neat is recommended only for severe winter conditions to prevent freezing. In summer, using it neat is generally unnecessary and may require more rinsing of paintwork.
The screenwash is designed for glass. If neat fluid spills onto paintwork, it must be rinsed off immediately with water to prevent potential damage.
The orange scent is designed to linger in the car's interior after use, helping to fragrance the cabin and mask unpleasant odors.
A concentrated formula allows for flexible dilution ratios depending on the season and driving conditions, offering good value and preventing freezing.
It is generally recommended not to mix different screenwash products, as this may affect performance or cause adverse reactions. Always use as directed.
Ensure the correct dilution ratio is used. For heavy soiling, a second wash may be necessary, or consider using the screenwash neat in severe conditions (not recommended for summer use).
In winter, ensure a higher concentration of screenwash (50% or neat) was used. If frozen, allow the system to thaw naturally or use a de-icer product. Never try to operate frozen washers.
Immediately rinse the affected paintwork thoroughly with plenty of clean water. Do not let the fluid dry on the paint.
Check the washer fluid level. Ensure the reservoir is not empty and the pump is receiving power. If the fluid is frozen, wait for it to thaw.
