Ronseal Hardwood Furniture Wood Stain - Rich Teak

Ronseal Hardwood Furniture Wood Stain offers a guaranteed 3-year protection against cracking, peeling, splitting, and discoloration.

This product is specifically designed for hardwood furniture. For softwoods, a different Ronseal product may be more appropriate. Always check product suitability.

The stain dries in approximately 1 hour, allowing for recoating or use of the furniture shortly after application.

The stain covers up to 16 square meters per litre on average.

As this is a water-based stain, brushes can be cleaned with water immediately after use.

It is best to strip back any old varnish or paint to bare wood for optimal adhesion and performance. Lightly sanding may be sufficient for some finishes, but full removal is recommended.

The 'Rich Teak' colour provides a warm, deep brown tone that enhances the natural beauty of hardwood while offering protection. It is not a high-gloss finish.

Ensure the wood surface was clean, dry, and properly prepared before application. Remove any existing finishes that might be preventing adhesion. Apply a second coat if necessary.

Stir the product thoroughly before and during use. Apply in thin, even coats, ensuring consistent brush strokes. Avoid over-application in certain areas.

The wood may require a second coat for a richer finish. Ensure the wood was properly cleaned and any greyed wood was lightly sanded to remove the weathered layer.
