Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your project lasts, pre-washing is essential as viscose can have natural shrinkage. Hand-wash or use a delicate machine cycle with a gentle detergent, and air dry in the shade to preserve the integrity of the Maple pigment. When cutting, use pattern weights rather than heavy pins to prevent shifting and fabric distortion. For sewing, a universal or sharp needle size 60/8 or 70/10 is recommended to maintain the fabric's smooth surface. Avoid high-heat ironing; use a press cloth and a medium-low temperature setting to ensure the pebbled surface remains pristine.
