The frequency depends on usage and the type of wood. Inspect the blades before each use and replace or sharpen them when cuts become rough or uneven.
A dust extractor with a sufficient CFM (cubic feet per minute) rating is recommended to efficiently remove dust and wood chips. Check your vacuum's specifications for suitability.
The TPT125 is designed for flat surfaces. It is not suitable for curved or shaped pieces without additional jigs or fixtures.
The maximum cutting width is 317mm (12.5").
Always wear safety glasses and hearing protection. Ensure the material is free of nails, staples, or any other debris that could damage the blades. Never reach into the machine while it is running.
Use the 4-post column design and turn the handle to adjust the cutting depth in 1.6mm (1/16") increments.
Check the power connection and the circuit breaker. Ensure the power switch is in the 'on' position.
Check the blades for sharpness; replace or sharpen as needed. Ensure the feed rate is appropriate for the wood type and thickness.
Make sure the infeed and outfeed tables are aligned and level. Adjust the depth of cut in small increments.
Ensure the dust chute is connected securely to your dust extraction system and that there are no blockages.
