Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Safety First: Always disconnect the spark plug wire before any maintenance.
- Blade Removal: Refer to your mower's manual for blade removal instructions. Usually, this involves unscrewing a central bolt.
- Blade Installation: Align the new blade, ensuring it's correctly oriented (curved ends should face upwards for optimal collection). Tighten the bolt to the manufacturer's recommended torque.
Compatibility
This blade is designed for HAYTER HARRIER 305, 306, 307, 410, 412, and 413 lawnmower models. Ensure that the blade's dimensions (40cm/16") match your mower's specifications before installation.
Care
- Regular Inspection: Check the blade before each use for any damage or wear.
- Cleaning: Clean the blade after each use to remove grass and debris, which can cause rust.
- Sharpening: Sharpen the blade regularly to maintain cutting efficiency. Alternatively, replace the blade if it becomes too worn.
