Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before your first use, wash the pot with warm soapy water and dry it thoroughly. When cooking over a campfire, avoid placing the pot into a roaring, high-temperature flame to protect the enamel finish; instead, focus on using glowing embers. After cooking, allow the pot to cool down naturally to room temperature before washing. Never submerge a hot pot in cold water, as the thermal shock can crack the enamel. While the exterior is rust-resistant, always ensure the pot is completely dry before storing it in a cool, moisture-free location to maintain its condition for years to come.
