FAQs
Can this mat be used outdoors?
Yes, it is designed for outdoor entryways, though placing it in a sheltered location will help it last longer.
How do I clean the Hedgehog Doormat?
The best way to clean it is to shake it out vigorously or use a stiff-bristled brush to remove dried mud.
Is the backing safe for wood floors?
Yes, the PVC backing is designed to be stable on most common floor types, including wooden decks.
Does it absorb water?
The coir fibers are effective at absorbing moisture, though they should be allowed to air dry periodically.
What are the dimensions of the mat?
The mat measures 2cm in height, 60cm in width, and 40cm in depth.
Troubleshooting
The mat is shedding fibers.
Some shedding is normal for new natural coir products; shake the mat outside to remove loose fibers until the shedding stabilizes.
The mat moves when people walk on it.
Ensure the floor surface underneath is clean and dry to allow the non-slip rubber backing to maintain full contact.
Pros and Cons

Setup, Compatibility & Care
The Hedgehog Doormat arrives fully assembled and ready for immediate use. Simply place it on a flat, dry surface at your entrance. To maintain the mat, avoid soaking it in water. For routine care, lift the mat to sweep away collected debris from the floor beneath, and give the mat a regular shake to maintain its scraping efficiency. Because it features a rubber backing, it is compatible with most hard-surface flooring, including tile, concrete, and wood decks.
