Setup, Compatibility & Care
Preparation: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dirt, mold, or loose debris. For best results, treat surfaces when temperatures are above 5°C and rising, and when no rain is expected for at least 24 hours. Avoid applying to saturated surfaces or during very humid conditions.
Compatibility: Suitable for use on porous materials including brickwork and masonry, concrete paths and drives, porous stone, flagstones, and rendered walls. Do not apply to non-porous or previously sealed surfaces without testing compatibility in an inconspicuous area.
Application: Apply liberally using a brush, roller, or low-pressure sprayer. Ensure even coverage. For very porous surfaces, a second coat may be applied after allowing the first coat to dry.
Care: Once applied and dried, the barrier is largely maintenance-free. Periodically check treated areas for signs of wear or reduced water repellency, typically after several years, and reapply if necessary.
