Product Information

Full details

The Korda Kaizen Green Landing Net is designed for serious carp anglers who require professional-grade rigidity, precision, and ease of use when securing their catch. Leveraging ultra-light carbon fibre construction, this 6-foot net offers exceptional control and integrated buoyancy, removing the need for external net floats. While the shallow mesh design is excellent for maneuvering in the water, users should handle the high-modulus carbon handle with care to avoid impact damage common with rigid carbon materials.

FAQs

Does this net need an additional foam float?

No, the handle is designed with inherent buoyancy to keep it floating on the surface.

What size isotope fits in the block?

The slot is designed to take a standard-sized carp fishing isotope.

Is the handle compatible with other net heads?

The block is designed for the Kaizen system, but the standard thread may fit some other accessories depending on the block threading.

How long is the handle?

The handle is 6 feet in length, providing a balance of reach and control.

Can I replace the mesh?

The mesh is removable for cleaning and maintenance; replacements should be sized for a 42-inch frame.

How do I clean the carbon handle?

Wipe the handle down with a soft, damp cloth and ensure it is dried thoroughly before placing it back in its sleeve.

Troubleshooting

Arms are difficult to fit into the spreader block

Ensure the spreader block channel is free of silt or grit and verify the arms are fully aligned before applying pressure.

Net feels unstable in the water

Check that the arms are fully seated in the block; ensure the mesh is evenly distributed to prevent lopsided buoyancy.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Superior rigidity due to the reverse taper carbon design
Inherent buoyancy eliminates the need for bulky net floats
Includes a dedicated isotope slot for night visibility
High-quality, durable spreader block construction
Matches the aesthetic of the premium Korda Kaizen rod range

Cons

Carbon fibre can be susceptible to impact damage if mishandled
Shallow mesh design may require careful handling of very large fish
Does not include an isotope, must be purchased separately

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To set up the net, firmly slide the spreader arms into the aluminium-reinforced spreader block until they lock securely into place. When collapsing the net, ensure the arms are eased out carefully to prevent straining the carbon composite.

Care Instructions:

Always rinse the mesh in fresh water after use, especially after fishing in saltwater or silty environments, to prevent odor and material degradation.
Allow the mesh to dry completely before storing it in the provided sleeve to prevent mold.
Avoid leaning the carbon handle against hard objects or dropping it on rocks, as high-modulus carbon is prone to cracking upon direct impact.
Check the spreader block connection points periodically for any debris that might hinder assembly.
