Setup, Compatibility & Care
Proper installation is critical for performance. Ensure that the brake caliper slides are clean and lubricated before installing the pads. Although these pads are designed with factory grooves to reduce bedding-in time, a gentle, controlled bed-in procedure is still recommended to properly transfer the friction material to the rotors. Inspect your rotors for signs of glazing or excessive wear before installation; if the rotors are significantly grooved, they should be resurfaced or replaced to ensure full pad contact. Always check for proper clearance between the pad backing plate and the caliper housing to prevent sticking.
