Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The set comes ready to use directly from its storage case. Ensure all components are present and correctly seated in their designated slots within the case. The bit holder is used to attach the various bits to the driver handles or the bit driver for extended reach.
Compatibility: The included bits are standard sizes and should be compatible with most common screwdriver handles and power tool adapters that accept 1/4" hex shank bits. The screwdrivers themselves are designed for manual use.
Care: To maintain the tools:
- Cleaning: Wipe the shafts and handles with a clean, dry cloth after each use. For stubborn grime, use a slightly damp cloth, ensuring the tool is dried thoroughly afterward.
- Storage: Always store the set in its original case. Ensure bits are securely in place to prevent them from falling out or getting lost.
- Rust Prevention: While Chrome Vanadium steel is resistant to rust, avoid prolonged exposure to moisture. If any signs of rust appear on the tips, a fine-grade steel wool or rust remover can be used gently, followed by a light oil application.
- Avoid Overuse: Do not use the insulated screwdriver for applications requiring higher voltage protection than it is rated for. Do not use the tools for prying or as chisels.
