Full details

The loop ring snaffle, known as a wilkie, is a style of a snaffle bit and is very popular with horses and ponies that need extra brakes. It has an action similar to the other snaffles, but when a contact is taken, pressure is applied on the poll and raises the bit in the horses mouth, achieving additional control.
