Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Prepare the Surface: Ensure the interior surfaces of your vehicle are clean, dry, and free from grease or dust.
- Cut the Lining: Measure and cut the van lining to the required shapes, allowing for curves and fittings around windows and arches. Use a sharp utility knife for clean cuts.
- Apply Adhesive: Using the provided adhesive glue with its adjustable nozzle, apply an even layer to both the vehicle surface and the back of the lining where it will be attached. For pouches, apply adhesive to the back of the pouch or the designated mounting area.
- Attach Lining/Pouches: Carefully press the lining and pouches onto the glued surfaces. Ensure firm contact and smooth out any air bubbles. For a more permanent fix, hold in place until the adhesive begins to set.
- Allow to Cure: Let the adhesive cure completely according to the manufacturer's instructions, typically several hours or overnight, before subjecting the areas to stress or load.
Compatibility:
This set is compatible with most vehicle interiors, including cars, vans, trucks, and camper conversions. The flexible lining can adapt to various shapes, and the pouches can be mounted on most clean, flat, or slightly curved surfaces.
Care:
The van lining is bleachable, making it easy to maintain. Use a mild detergent and water for general cleaning. For tougher stains, a diluted bleach solution can be used. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry. The storage pouches can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
