The Bartoline Ready Mixed Wallcovering Adhesive is an ideal solution for DIY enthusiasts and professional decorators seeking a versatile, high-performance bonding agent that requires no manual dilution. This adhesive excels at securing a wide variety of wallcoverings—from standard vinyl to heavy embossed textures—providing strong initial grab while allowing enough slip for precise pattern alignment. While it offers excellent application convenience, users should note that it must be stored away from frost and used within one month of opening for optimal bonding strength.

Yes, this adhesive is specifically formulated to be suitable for 'paste the wall' wallcoverings.
It covers approximately five standard 10-metre rolls or 2 to 3 rolls of heavy embossed wallcovering.
No, it is a ready-mixed formula and should be used exactly as it comes out of the tub.
Yes, but you must seal the surface with a PVA or Size first because new plaster is highly porous.
Store in a cool, dry place, ensuring the lid is securely closed. Protect from frost and use within one month.
Wipe it off immediately using a clean, damp cloth or sponge before it has a chance to dry.
The surface is likely too porous; ensure you have primed new plaster with a suitable size or PVA before application.
Clean tools immediately after use with water; if it has partially hardened, soak tools in warm water to soften the residue.
Ensure the wall was cleaned of all dust, grease, and loose debris before application; if necessary, apply a small amount of extra adhesive to the edge and smooth firmly.
Proper preparation is essential for a lasting finish. If applying to gloss-painted walls, ensure you sand the surface first to create a mechanical key for the adhesive to grip. For highly porous surfaces, such as newly installed plaster, prime the wall with a suitable PVA or Size first to prevent the adhesive from drying out too quickly. After application, clean any tools used with warm water immediately, as the adhesive becomes difficult to remove once it fully cures. Always store the tub in a cool, dry environment, ensuring the lid is tightly sealed to prevent the product from drying out.
