FAQs

Does this pen come with ink?

Yes, it is presented in a gift box that includes initial refills.

Can I use bottled ink with this fountain pen?

Yes, you can use a standard fountain pen ink converter, which allows you to draw from bottled ink.

Is the nib replaceable?

While the stainless steel nib is durable and long-lasting, it is not designed to be swapped out by the user.

What is the benefit of the PVD coating?

PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating provides a harder, more corrosion-resistant surface than traditional plating.

Is this pen suitable for left-handed writers?

Yes, the ergonomic grip and balanced design are well-suited for both left- and right-handed users.

How do I store the pen to keep it working well?

Store it horizontally or nib-up, and ensure the cap is always securely snapped closed.

Troubleshooting

Ink flow is skipping or scratchy

Flush the nib with lukewarm water to remove any dried ink particles and try a new, fresh ink cartridge.

Pen leaked inside the cap

Gently clean the inside of the cap with a damp cloth and ensure the cartridge is fully seated in the section.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Sophisticated, eye-catching color contrast
PVD coating ensures long-term finish durability
Comfortable weight and balanced grip
Compatible with both cartridges and bottle converters
Professional presentation case included

Cons

Medium nib may feel broad for those preferring extra-fine lines
Requires periodic maintenance to prevent ink drying
Requires steady hand for manual ink filling

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To begin, gently unscrew the barrel to insert your ink cartridge until it clicks into place. If using a converter, dip the nib into your bottled ink and operate the plunger mechanism to draw ink up through the feed.

For care, we recommend flushing the nib with lukewarm water once a month—especially if switching ink colors or if the pen will not be used for an extended period—to prevent ink residue from clogging the feed. Always store the pen with the cap securely snapped on to prevent the nib from drying out, and keep it in the provided gift box when not in use to protect the finish.
