Setup, Compatibility & Care
Compatibility: This pack is specifically designed for Worcester Bosch Greenstar heating systems. The programmer is wireless and requires appropriate battery installation.
Setup:
- Programmer: Install the Comfort+ II RF programmer according to its separate user manual. This typically involves mounting the display unit and ensuring the RF receiver is correctly connected to the boiler.
- Mini System Filter: This should ideally be installed by a qualified heating engineer during a system service. It is usually fitted to the return pipework of the boiler.
- Chemicals (WB1 Inhibitor & WB3 Cleaner): These are added to the heating system water. The WB3 Cleaner is typically added before a system flush, and the WB1 Inhibitor is added after flushing and refilling, following the dosage instructions on the product labels. Always follow the specific instructions provided with the chemicals and consult a professional if unsure.
Care:
- Regularly check system pressure via the boiler's display.
- Test the programmer's battery when prompted.
- Annual servicing by a qualified engineer is recommended to ensure the system filter is cleaned and chemical levels are maintained.
- Keep the programmer clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
