Product Information
Full details
This Clippasafe Insect Net is designed for parents and caregivers looking to protect their infants from insects during outdoor activities. Its key benefit is providing a safe, breathable barrier against bites and stings, allowing for more enjoyable warm-weather outings. A potential caveat is that while 'universal,' fit may vary slightly on very uniquely shaped strollers or playpens. This extra-large net offers maximum coverage for strollers with hoods or sun canopies, prams, carrycots, and some playpens, ensuring airflow and visibility.

FAQs
What are the dimensions of the insect net?
The insect net measures 150cm x 135cm (approximately 59.06 inches x 53.15 inches).
Can this net be used for UV protection?
No, this product is designed specifically for insect protection and does not offer UV protection.
How do I clean the insect net?
Hand wash gently in cool water with mild soap and air dry. Do not use harsh chemicals.
Will this fit a double stroller?
While described as universal, its large size is intended for single strollers, prams, and carrycots. Fit on double strollers may vary significantly and might not provide adequate coverage.
Is the mesh fine enough to stop small gnats?
Yes, the ultra-fine mesh is designed to keep out even small insects like gnats and mosquitoes.
Does it come in different colors?
This specific product is available in classic white, though other colors might be offered by the brand for different models.
How easy is it to store when not in use?
The net packs small, making it convenient to store in a diaper bag or travel system for easy access.
Troubleshooting
Net doesn't fit snugly on my stroller.
Ensure you are using the elasticated edge or securing points correctly. For some strollers, you may need to tuck the excess material under the frame or use a small, safe clip (not included) for a tighter fit. Adjustments might be needed based on the specific stroller model.
Visibility is reduced through the net.
Check that the net is taut and not bunched up in front of the baby's face. Ensure there are no obstructions or dirt on the mesh. The ultra-fine mesh is designed for protection; clear visibility is generally good, but optimal conditions depend on proper fitting and lighting.
Baby seems too warm under the net.
While the net is designed for airflow, ensure the surrounding environment isn't excessively hot. Consider using the net during cooler parts of the day or in shaded areas. The net itself should not impede airflow if fitted correctly.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The insect net is designed for simple and quick fitting. Drape the net over the stroller, pram, or carrycot, ensuring it covers the entire area. For strollers with hoods or sun canopies, the elasticated edge or the net's design will help it secure around the frame or seat. For prams and carrycots, ensure the net fits snugly around the sides.
Compatibility: This net is described as universal and is suitable for most strollers with hoods or sun canopies, prams, carrycots, and some playpens. Its large size (150cm x 135cm) aims to provide broad compatibility.
Care: To maintain the net's effectiveness and appearance, hand wash gently in cool water with mild soap. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the fine mesh. Ensure the net is fully dry before storing to prevent mildew.
