To maximize the life of your Wild Orchid candle, place it on a heat-resistant, flat surface away from drafts, which can cause uneven burning or soot. Before every burn, ensure the wick is trimmed to approximately 3mm. During the initial light, allow the wax to melt across the entire top surface to the jar edges; this prevents "tunnelling," where wax is wasted along the sides of the glass. When the wax level reaches 1cm from the bottom, discontinue use to prevent the glass from cracking due to excessive heat exposure.
