Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: This watch comes ready to wear. The crown typically has a protective cap or is in the 'off' position; pull the crown out to the first position to set the time and date. For models with a date function, ensure you set the date correctly by advancing the time past midnight. Refer to the Tissot user manual for specific crown operation.
Compatibility: This is a mechanical timepiece and does not have electronic compatibility requirements.
Care:
- Cleaning: Wipe the gold case and sapphire crystal gently with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. The leather strap can be cleaned with a slightly damp cloth, but avoid soaking it. Allow it to air dry completely.
- Strap Maintenance: To prolong the life of the leather strap, avoid exposing it to excessive moisture, heat, and direct sunlight. Condition the leather periodically with a leather care product designed for watch straps.
- Water Resistance: While Tissot watches are built to high standards, consult your specific model's water resistance rating. Avoid exposing the watch to water beyond its specified limits, especially the leather strap.
