Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the surface where the flat bar will be applied is clean, dry, and free from dust or grease.
- Measure and cut the PVC flat bar to the required length using a fine-tooth saw or utility knife.
- Apply a suitable grab adhesive to the back of the flat bar or directly to the surface following the adhesive manufacturer's instructions.
- Press the flat bar firmly into place, ensuring good contact.
- For added security, screws can be used in conjunction with adhesive, particularly for larger applications or in high-traffic areas. Pre-drill pilot holes if necessary.
- Allow adhesive to cure fully according to product recommendations before applying stress or cleaning.
Compatibility:
This flat bar is suitable for use on most interior surfaces including plaster, drywall, painted surfaces, wallpaper, tiles, and wood. It can be used around windows, doors, flooring transitions, and furniture edges.
Care:
To maintain its appearance, simply wipe the surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, which may damage the finish.
