Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
The Living and Home Shower Tower is designed for exposed installation, meaning the panel mounts directly onto your bathroom wall, with the plumbing connections either visible or neatly integrated within the panel itself. While skilled DIYers might attempt installation, professional plumbing installation is recommended to ensure optimal performance and prevent issues.
- Pre-Installation Check: Before beginning, ensure your bathroom walls are structurally sound to support the panel's weight. Verify that existing hot and cold water supply lines are accessible and compatible with standard shower connections.
- Mounting: Securely attach the shower tower panel to the wall using the provided mounting hardware. Always refer to the manufacturer's drilling template for accurate placement and ensure the panel is level.
- Plumbing Connections: Connect the hot and cold water supply lines to the corresponding inlets on the shower tower. Use appropriate sealant or plumbing tape on all threaded connections to ensure they are watertight.
- Testing: Before final sealing or finishing, thoroughly test all shower functions for leaks and proper operation. Check water temperature and flow for each mode.
Compatibility
This shower tower is generally compatible with most standard domestic plumbing systems and requires existing hot and cold water supplies. For optimal performance across all four functions, ensure your home's water pressure is within recommended operating limits. > Info needed: specific water pressure range for best functionality.
Care & Maintenance
To preserve the pristine look and ensure the longevity of your stainless steel shower tower, follow these essential care guidelines:
- Regular Cleaning: Wipe down the brushed silver finish regularly with a soft, damp cloth to remove water spots, soap scum, and grime. This prevents buildup and maintains its luster.
- Mild Detergent Use: For more stubborn stains, use a mild, non-abrasive bathroom cleaner or a solution of warm water and mild dish soap. Always rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry immediately with a soft cloth to prevent water marks.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, bleach, ammonia-based products, or acidic solutions. These can permanently damage the stainless steel finish and internal components.
- Jet Maintenance: Occasionally, the massage jets and shower nozzles may accumulate mineral deposits, especially in hard water areas. Gently wipe them with a cloth soaked in a diluted vinegar solution (rinse thoroughly afterwards) or carefully clear any blockages using a soft brush or toothpick.
