The Eveready Super Heavy Duty Size C batteries are an ideal, cost-effective power solution for low-to-moderate drain household devices like flashlights, toys, and portable radios. Designed for reliability and environmental safety, these carbon-zinc cells are mercury and cadmium-free; however, they are single-use batteries and are not suitable for high-drain electronics that require alkaline or rechargeable power sources.

No, these are single-use zinc-carbon batteries and should never be placed in a battery charger.
While they will power the device, they are optimized for low-drain use and will drain significantly faster than alkaline batteries in high-performance equipment.
Yes, they are manufactured without added mercury or cadmium, making them a more environmentally conscious choice for standard household use.
Store them in a cool, dry area at room temperature to preserve their three-year shelf life.
Each battery provides a standard 1.5V output.
Please follow your local municipal guidelines for the recycling or proper disposal of household batteries.
Double-check that the battery polarity matches the markings in the device battery compartment.
Ensure that all batteries in the device are new and of the same type; mixing old and new batteries can cause voltage drops.
Remove batteries immediately and clean the terminals with a dry cloth or a cotton swab lightly dampened with vinegar to neutralize residue.
To ensure optimal performance, verify that your device specifically requires 'C' or 'R14' size batteries. When installing, ensure the positive (+) and negative (-) ends align with the polarity markings inside the device compartment. Never mix old and new batteries, or different battery types, as this can lead to diminished performance or potential leakage. For storage, keep the batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or extreme temperatures to protect their three-year shelf life. If a device will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent any risk of corrosion.
