This unit is designed specifically for high-pressure GDI circuits and may not provide accurate or safe readings for low-pressure port injection systems.
The Sealey VS566 offers a high-precision accuracy rating of 1%.
The unit is factory calibrated for high precision. Avoid dropping or physically damaging the unit to maintain its calibration integrity.
Use the interface buttons on the front panel to toggle between psi, bar, and kg/cm2 as needed.
The device features a safety alarm for pressures exceeding 5148psi (355bar).
Yes, the 2.8-inch display is backlit to provide high contrast in varying light conditions.
Check all physical connections for trapped air in the lines and ensure the adaptors are seated properly.
Verify the battery levels and ensure the contacts are clean and free of corrosion.
Ensure the measured pressure does not exceed the unit's maximum specified limit of 5148psi.
To begin, ensure all fuel connections are tight and verified against the specific vehicle service manual to avoid leaks. The kit includes universal adaptors, but some specific vehicle makes may require additional proprietary connectors. After each use, bleed the pressure from the system carefully before disconnecting the hoses to avoid fuel spray. Wipe the digital display with a soft, dry cloth and store the components in the provided molded case. Do not expose the electronic unit to direct solvent cleaners or excessive heat, keeping it within the operating temperature range of -10 to 60 degrees Celsius.
