Setup, Compatibility & Care
- Preparation: Ensure you have a suitable container for the Deox-C solution. Use a plastic container, as metal containers may react with the solution.
- Dilution: Mix Deox-C with tap water, following the dilution instructions on the product label. Generally, one kilogram of Deox-C makes up to 20 liters of solution. Always wear appropriate safety gear.
- Immersion: Submerge the rusted item completely in the solution.
- Time: Allow the item to soak for the recommended time (typically several hours or overnight), depending on the severity of the rust.
- Rinsing: After soaking, remove the item and rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Protection: Dry the item and apply a protective coating (e.g., rust inhibitor, paint) to prevent future corrosion.
Compatibility: Bilt Hamber Deox-C is compatible with steel, stainless steel, and most ferrous metals. Avoid using it on non-ferrous metals like aluminum and zinc, as it may cause damage.
Care: Store Deox-C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children and pets.
