Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the surface you intend to cover is clean, dry, and smooth. Remove any dust, grease, or old adhesive.
- Measure the area and cut the vinyl wrap using the grid lines on the back for accuracy. A craft knife or scissors can be used.
- Carefully peel back a small section of the backing paper.
- Align the vinyl wrap with the edge of the surface and slowly apply it, smoothing out any air bubbles as you go with a squeegee or a clean cloth.
- Continue peeling the backing paper and applying the wrap section by section, smoothing constantly.
- Trim any excess material with a craft knife.
Compatibility:
This vinyl wrap is best suited for smooth, non-porous surfaces such as painted wood, metal, glass, and laminate. It is not recommended for rough, uneven, textured, or overly porous surfaces, as adhesion may be compromised.
Care:
To clean the vinyl wrap, use a soft, damp cloth with mild soap if necessary. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or scouring pads, as these can damage the surface.
