The RocwooD 02591 replacement spring is designed for DIY enthusiasts and professionals maintaining RocwooD Universal 2 Line Heads, specifically models BR0008 and BR0028. It serves as a vital component for ensuring the proper feeding mechanism of your strimmer line, though users must verify the physical dimensions (45mm length, 27mm diameter) against their existing equipment to ensure compatibility before installation.

This spring is specifically designed for RocwooD Universal 2 Line Heads (BR0008 and BR0028) and is not guaranteed to fit other brands.
If your line feed mechanism has stopped working or the trimmer head feels less responsive when tapped, the spring may have lost its tension.
No special tools are generally required; the trimmer head cap usually unscrews by hand.
The spring has a length of 45mm and an outside diameter of 27mm.
The manufacturer part number for this replacement spring is 02591.
Check if the spring is seated correctly or if it has become compressed/deformed, requiring a replacement.
Ensure the spring is providing adequate tension to hold the spool securely against the cap assembly.
To install, remove the cap from your trimmer head and clear away any grass debris or old line fragments. Place the new 45mm x 27mm spring into the central housing area before replacing the spool and cap.
Compatibility is strictly limited to the RocwooD 02591 specifications; always compare your old spring against the 45mm length and 27mm diameter measurements. To maintain the life of the spring, avoid striking hard surfaces (like concrete or stone) with excessive force, as repeated high-impact shocks can weaken the metal structure over time.
