Setup, Compatibility & Care
For optimal results, plant your bulbs in Autumn or Winter when the soil is workable but not waterlogged. Choose a location with fertile, well-draining soil; if you have heavy clay, amend the soil with horticultural grit. Plant the bulbs at a depth roughly three to four times the height of the bulb itself, maintaining a spacing of approximately 10 cm between each. Before planting, store any unused bulbs in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated location to prevent premature sprouting or mold. Once the blooming season concludes, allow the foliage to die back naturally before removing it, as this allows the bulb to store energy for next year's growth.
