Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and old sealant. Remove any existing mould.
- Cut the nozzle tip at a 45-degree angle to achieve the desired bead size.
- Pierce the cartridge seal and load it into a standard sealant gun.
- Apply a continuous bead of sealant to the joint.
- Smooth the bead immediately using a wet finger or a smoothing tool for a neat finish.
- Remove excess sealant with a damp cloth.
Compatibility:
Suitable for use around baths, sinks, showers, toilets, worktops, tiles, UPVC, and window frames.
Care:
Allow the sealant to cure fully before exposing to water. Clean the sealed area with mild detergents and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the sealant.
Curing Time:
Typically cures within 24 hours, but full performance is achieved after several days depending on temperature and humidity.
