Product Information
Full details
The Bissell SpinWave Scrubby Mop Pads are designed for homeowners who own a SpinWave or SpinWave + Vac series mop and need a reliable solution for tackling stubborn floor messes. These pads provide a significant boost in cleaning power against sticky or dried-on stains on hard surfaces; however, they are specifically engineered for scrubbing duty and may be too abrasive for highly delicate, antique, or waxed wood surfaces if not used with caution.

FAQs
Are these pads compatible with all Bissell mops?
No, these are specifically designed for the Bissell SpinWave and SpinWave + Vac models (MPN 2138).
Can I use these pads on hardwood floors?
Yes, they are safe for most sealed hardwood floors, but always perform a spot test if you are concerned about your specific floor finish.
How should I wash these mop pads?
They are machine washable. We recommend washing them with warm water and letting them air dry.
How often should I replace the scrubby pads?
While they are reusable, they should be replaced once you notice the scrubbing texture has worn down or if the fabric begins to fray significantly.
Does the pack include 4 pads total?
Yes, each purchase includes a 4-pack of the scrubby mop pads.
Troubleshooting
Pad keeps falling off the mop head during use.
Ensure the hook-and-loop surface on the mop head is free of hair or debris and press the pad firmly onto the center of the head.
Pads smell musty after washing.
Ensure the pads are fully air-dried after washing before storage and consider adding a small amount of white vinegar to the rinse cycle.
Pad is not cleaning effectively.
Check if the pad is saturated with grime and replace it with a clean one; heavily soiled pads lose their scrubbing efficiency.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Excellent for lifting stubborn, sticky, and dried-on spills
- Environmentally friendly and cost-effective due to being machine washable
- Perfect, secure fit for Bissell SpinWave and SpinWave + Vac models
- Durable construction handles rigorous scrubbing action without fraying easily
Cons
- Not intended for delicate floors that require a soft-touch finish
- Requires proper maintenance to prevent odor buildup if left damp
- May require more frequent cleaning if used on excessively greasy floors
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To install, simply align the hook-and-loop backing of the mop pad with the circular cleaning head on your Bissell SpinWave. Ensure the pad is centered to prevent vibration during operation. These pads are compatible with model 2138 series units. For care, remove the pads after each use and rinse away large debris under a tap. They are machine washable; however, avoid using bleach or heavy fabric softeners, as these can break down the scrubbing fibers. Always allow the pads to air dry completely before storing them to prevent mildew or odors.
