Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Ensure you have the necessary wall fixings suitable for your wall type (e.g., plasterboard, brick). Mark the desired position for the brackets, ensuring they are level and spaced appropriately for the pole length. Secure the brackets firmly to the wall. If your pole is over 210cm, join the two sections together using the provided connector or by following the specific instructions for your model. Once joined (if applicable), place the pole onto the brackets. Add curtain rings or eyelets to your curtains, and then thread them onto the pole. Finally, attach the finials to the ends of the pole.
Compatibility: This 28mm metal curtain pole is compatible with most standard curtain rings, eyelets, and pencil pleat or grommet-top curtains. The fixed length is suitable for windows where precise measurements are known. Ensure your chosen brackets are rated to support the weight of your curtains and the pole itself.
Care: To maintain the appearance of the black metal pole, dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For tougher marks, use a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish.
