Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
This runner is designed to be secured to your stairs. Installation typically involves:
- Measuring: Ensure the runner is cut to the correct size for your staircase. Available in various widths and lengths.
- Positioning: Lay the runner flat on the stairs, aligning it as desired.
- Securing: Use carpet tacks, staples, or double-sided carpet tape to firmly attach the runner to each step. For reversible use, ensure you can easily access the fixing points to flip it.
Compatibility:
- Suitable for most standard indoor and outdoor staircases.
- Compatible with underfloor heating systems (verify specific product details if concerned).
- The slim 2mm profile makes it compatible with most door clearances.
Care:
- Spot Cleaning: For minor spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. For stains, use a mild detergent and water solution, then blot dry.
- Vacuuming: Regularly vacuum to remove dust and debris. Use a standard vacuum cleaner without a beater bar to avoid snagging the fibers.
- Deep Cleaning: For a more thorough clean, consider professional carpet cleaning or use a carpet cleaning machine with appropriate solutions designed for polypropylene.
- Reversing: To refresh the look or extend the runner's life, simply untack or un-tape the runner, flip it over, and re-secure it.
