Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
Installation typically involves fitting the breakfast bar to existing cabinetry or supporting structures. Ensure the supporting structure is level and robust enough to bear the weight of the 3000mm x 950mm surface. For cut-outs (e.g., for sinks), professional cutting is recommended to maintain the integrity of the laminate.
Compatibility:
This breakfast bar is designed to be a standalone surface but can be integrated with standard kitchen cabinets and islands. It pairs well with contemporary kitchen styles due to its clean lines and finish. Ensure any supporting brackets or fixings are compatible with 12.5mm thick laminate.
Care:
- Daily Cleaning: Wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth. Mild, non-abrasive detergent can be used for tougher spots.
- Spills: Clean up spills immediately with a damp cloth to prevent staining.
- Avoid Abrasives: Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals, as they can damage the finish.
- Heat Protection: Always use trivets or heat mats under hot pots, pans, and serving dishes to prevent heat damage.
- Cutting Surfaces: Use a cutting board for all food preparation to avoid scratches.
