Machine wash with mild detergent and tumble dry on a low heat setting.
While it is a waterproof barrier, it is primarily designed for liquid and allergen protection rather than full bed bug encasement.
If washed and dried according to the instructions, it will maintain its integrity and shape over time.
Ensure the elastic skirt is pulled fully underneath the mattress on all four sides.
Ensure your mattress is not heat-retentive and use breathable cotton sheets on top of the protector.
Check if high-heat drying was used previously, as extreme heat can melt the waterproof barrier.
Installation is straightforward due to the fitted sheet style design. Simply pull the elastic skirt over the corners of your mattress, ensuring the elastic is tucked securely underneath. The 40cm skirt is optimized for mattresses up to 16 inches deep.
For care, machine wash the protector in cold or warm water with mild detergent. To maintain the waterproof integrity of the backing, avoid harsh bleaching agents and high-heat drying, which can damage the impervious membrane over time. Tumble dry on a low setting or hang to dry when possible to prolong the life of the fabric.
