Setup, Compatibility & Care
To achieve the best fit, ensure the horse's legs are clean and dry before application. Brush off any mud or grit to prevent skin irritation under the memory foam padding.
- Position the boot against the leg with the closure facing the rear.
- Wrap the touch-tape securely, ensuring the boot remains parallel to the ground.
- Check that the boot does not rotate during movement; if it does, the straps may need tightening.
For maintenance, wipe down the hard shell after every use with a damp cloth. If the memory foam becomes saturated with sweat, allow it to air dry naturally in a cool, ventilated space. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, as these may degrade the integrity of the foam or the adhesives on the touch-tape.
