Yes, the surface-mounted design is well-suited for both wall surfaces and wooden headboards, provided there is enough space to hide the wiring.
The unit is designed with an integrated LED system for maximum efficiency and durability, meaning the light source is not intended for user replacement.
While it can be wired to a wall switch, the light features its own integrated twist dial that acts as both a dimmer and an on/off switch.
This light uses a 5-watt LED module, which provides efficient, long-lasting performance for reading tasks.
The light is designed to be comfortable for reading, offering a balanced color temperature suitable for nighttime use.
Check that the power is on at the breaker and verify all wiring connections are secure.
Ensure the internal mechanism of the twist dial is not obstructed; clean any debris from around the dial base.
Tighten the mounting screws attached to the base plate to ensure a firm connection to the surface.
To install, ensure the wall or headboard surface is stable and can accommodate the mounting hardware. Because this is a hardwired wall-mounted light, it is recommended to turn off the power at the main breaker before beginning any wiring connections. For care, simply dust the silver finish with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive materials, as these can damage the metallic finish. Periodically ensure the twist dial moves freely and check that the mounting screws remain tight over time.
