Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure maximum performance and longevity, break in your shoes gradually by wearing them on shorter walks before attempting long-distance hikes. The shoes are compatible with standard hiking socks; avoid wearing thick cotton socks as they retain moisture.
Care Instructions:
- Remove loose dirt and debris after every hike using a soft brush.
- Clean the exterior with lukewarm water and a mild soap if heavily soiled.
- Remove the sockliner to allow the inside to dry naturally.
- Dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can damage the GORE-TEX membrane and glues.
- Re-apply a water-repellent spray specifically designed for waterproof footwear if the outer fabric stops beading water.
