The Sealey SMC37 is an essential tool designed for motorcycle mechanics and DIY enthusiasts who need to perform routine wheel maintenance on bikes featuring internal hex axles. With its 1/2-inch square drive and H24 hex profile, it provides the leverage and grip necessary to safely remove front and rear motorcycle wheels, though it is specifically sized for H24 fittings and will not work on axles requiring different hex dimensions.

While the tool is built for high loads, it is recommended to use hand tools to avoid exceeding the material limits of the axle or the socket itself.
If your specific model uses a 24mm internal hex axle, the SMC37 is fully compatible.
The 53mm length is designed to accommodate most recessed axle designs found on modern motorcycles.
Sealey offers a standard warranty for manufacturing defects; check your local dealer or the Sealey website for specific terms.
Keeping the socket clean and lightly oiled will prevent oxidation.
Verify the axle size is H24; clear any debris or dried thread locker from the axle hex recess.
Ensure the socket is fully seated within the axle head and the drive tool is perfectly aligned with the axis of the axle.
To ensure longevity, always verify that your motorcycle’s internal axle hex measurement is exactly 24mm before use. The socket connects directly to any standard 1/2-inch drive ratchet, breaker bar, or torque wrench. After use, wipe the socket clean with a dry, lint-free cloth to remove grease and debris. Store in a cool, dry environment, such as a drawer or tool organizer, to prevent surface corrosion and maintain the integrity of the hex edges.
