If your cat does not finish the meal, cover any leftovers tightly and store them in the refrigerator. Use the remaining food within 48 hours.
Organ meats like hearts, livers, and gizzards are nutrient-dense and provide essential vitamins and minerals such as Vitamin A, B vitamins, iron, and zinc, which are crucial for a cat's overall health, immune function, and vitality.
Ensure the food is served at room temperature. Mix a small amount of the new food with their current food, gradually increasing the proportion of the new food over several days. Offer a small taste directly from the spoon to encourage exploration.
This is unlikely given the mousse texture, but if a product appears off, check the expiration date and ensure it has been stored correctly. If the product is within date and properly stored, contact the retailer for assistance.
Introduce the food gradually as per feeding guidelines. If symptoms persist, reduce the amount or temporarily switch back to their previous food and consult with a veterinarian.
