No, this is a tubeless (TL) tire designed to be used with compatible tubeless rims.
While it can be used for commuting, its aggressive compound is optimized for performance, meaning you may experience faster tread wear than with sport-touring tires.
It is recommended to check tire pressure before every ride, especially when the tires are cold, to ensure safety and longevity.
This is normal for high-performance tires; they require a short warm-up period to reach their optimal operating temperature.
Check your motorcycle's suspension settings and tire air pressure to ensure they align with the manufacturer's suggested specifications.
Ensure your motorcycle is compatible with a 180/55ZR17 rear tire specification before installation. Proper air pressure is critical; consult your motorcycle owner's manual or the Pirelli website for recommended cold tire pressures based on your bike's weight and intended use (street vs. track). Always have this tire professionally mounted by a certified technician using a tire changer to prevent damage to the bead. Regularly inspect the tread for embedded debris and monitor the wear indicators to ensure the tire is replaced before reaching the legal limit.
