FAQs

Can I remove the battery to charge it inside?

Yes, the battery is fully removable and features a key-lock system for security.

How long does it take to charge the battery fully?

A complete charge cycle typically takes approximately 5 hours.

Is the bike suitable for hilly areas?

Yes, the 40Nm Ananda rear hub motor is designed to assist with moderate inclines.

What is the maximum range on a single charge?

You can expect a range of up to 40 miles (64 km) depending on assist levels, terrain, and rider weight.

Does the bike come with the necessary tools for assembly?

While it includes most functional components, it is recommended to have a basic set of hex keys for final assembly and adjustments.

Can I fit a child seat to the rack?

The rack is designed for standard pannier bags; check with a professional mechanic if the rack is weight-rated for your specific child seat model.

Troubleshooting

Motor assistance does not engage

Ensure the battery is fully clicked into the lock mechanism and the LED display is powered on.

Gears skipping during shifting

Pros and Cons

Pros

Elegant heritage-inspired lightweight aluminium frame
Easy-access low step design for comfort
Removable battery allows for convenient off-bike charging
Includes essential accessories like mudguards and a rack
Puncture-resistant tyres reduce maintenance concerns

Cons

Battery weight on the rear rack can make the bike feel rear-heavy
Limited to 40 miles per charge which may not suit long-distance touring
V-brakes require more frequent adjustment than disc brakes

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the longevity of your Falcon Heritage, always store the battery indoors in a temperature-controlled environment during winter months to preserve cell health. Before your first ride, ensure the quick-release levers are tightened and the battery is fully locked into the rear rack using the provided key. The chain should be kept lubricated, and the V-brakes should be checked periodically to ensure the pads are making even contact with the wheel rim. Charging takes approximately 5 hours; avoid leaving the charger connected to the wall indefinitely after the indicator shows a full charge.
