This Knipex 2 Piece Alligator Water Pump Pliers Set (Model: 00 31 20 V02) includes two pliers: the Knipex Alligator Waterpump Pliers 180mm and the Knipex Alligator Waterpump Pliers 250mm. The 180mm plier has a maximum pipe diameter of 42mm and can hold nuts across flats up to 36mm. The 250mm plier has a maximum pipe diameter of 50mm and can hold nuts across flats up to 46mm. Both pliers feature self-locking on pipes and nuts, reducing slippage and hand force. The gripping surfaces have specially hardened teeth (approx. 61 HRC) for low wear and secure gripping. The box-joint design ensures high stability due to a double guide. These pliers are robust, insensitive to dirt, and particularly suitable for outdoor work. A guard is included to prevent fingers from being pinched. Made from chrome vanadium electric steel, forged, and oil-hardened, these pliers offer increased output and comfort compared to conventional water pump pliers of the same length, with a 9-notch adjustment for 30% more gripping capacity. The slim head and joint design allows for better access to the workpiece.
