FAQs
What size is the Adidas Messi F50 Football?
This model is a Size 5, which is the standard size for adults and players aged 12 and older.
Is this ball suitable for indoor play?
Yes, the durable TPU surface makes it suitable for indoor courts, though it is primarily designed for grass or artificial grass pitches.
Does the ball come inflated?
Typically, these footballs are shipped deflated to ensure safe transport. You will need a ball pump with a needle to inflate it.
What is TSBE technology?
TSBE stands for Thermal Bonded Seamless technology, which creates a smooth surface with no visible stitching, resulting in better flight stability.
How should I clean the ball?
Wipe it down with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary, then air dry in a shaded area.
Troubleshooting
Ball loses pressure quickly
Ensure the valve is not blocked by debris and check that the needle used for inflation was not damaged during insertion.
Surface scuffing
While minor scuffs are cosmetic, avoid using the ball on concrete or asphalt surfaces to prolong the life of the TPU skin.
Ball feels heavy during rain
The TSBE construction is water-resistant, but ensure the seams are kept clean to prevent long-term moisture accumulation.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure peak performance, inflate the ball to the recommended pressure using a standard needle valve pump. Avoid over-inflation, as this can stress the seams. For care, wipe the ball down with a damp cloth after playing on muddy or dusty fields to remove abrasive debris. Store the ball in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight or extreme temperatures to prevent the TPU casing from becoming brittle. When storing for extended periods, it is recommended to release a small amount of air pressure.
