Setup, Compatibility & Care
To install the Shad Terra TR41, ensure you have the specific Shad mounting plate compatible with your motorcycle model. The case attaches to the plate using a proprietary locking mechanism that clicks firmly into place.
Maintenance Tips:
- Regularly wipe the aluminum surface with a damp cloth to remove road grime and salt.
- Inspect the lock cylinder periodically and apply a silicone-based lubricant if the key feels stiff.
- Ensure the rubber weather stripping around the lid is clean and free of debris to maintain the case's water-resistant integrity.
- Never exceed the 5 kg maximum load capacity to avoid straining the mounting plate or the case's structural hinges.
