Full details
The Brabantia HangOut Washing Lines with Poles is designed for homeowners who value efficient, large-capacity outdoor drying and aesthetic simplicity. With 50 meters of line space and a robust 24 kg weight capacity, it is perfect for drying bedding and heavy laundry loads in a single go. However, users should be aware that the system requires permanent installation into concrete for maximum stability, making it less suitable for renters or those who need a portable solution.

FAQs
Can I remove the poles after installation?
No, the Brabantia HangOut is designed for permanent installation into concrete for safety and stability.
How much laundry can it hold?
The system is rated to hold up to 24 kg of wet laundry.
Are the lines replaceable?
Yes, Brabantia lines are generally designed to be replaceable if they eventually wear out after years of use.
Does it come with all installation hardware?
It includes the necessary components for mounting, but you will need to provide the concrete for the base installation.
Is the black finish weather-resistant?
Yes, the coating is designed for outdoor use and to resist rust and color fading from UV rays.
Troubleshooting
Lines are sagging despite tensioning
Check if the tensioning mechanism is blocked by debris and ensure the poles are still firmly set in the concrete without any lean.
Difficulty installing poles into the ground
Ensure you are using the correct concrete depth as specified in the manual; attempting to install without deep-set concrete will result in instability.
Line material feels stiff
This is a result of prolonged UV exposure over many years; while the line is resistant, you can clean it with warm soapy water to maintain flexibility.
Pros and Cons
Pros

- High load capacity up to 24 kg
- Hidden tensioning system keeps lines tidy
- Durable, UV-resistant line material
- Supports environmental reforestation projects
Cons

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation requires a level patch of ground and the ability to pour or set concrete. The included manual provides a step-by-step guide for secure, deep-set concrete mounting, which is essential to prevent the poles from leaning under the tension of the lines. To maintain the system, periodically wipe the lines with a damp cloth to remove dust or pollen before hanging clean laundry. During winter months or severe windstorms, ensure the lines are not over-tensioned to allow for natural material contraction. Periodically inspect the base of the poles to ensure the concrete remains intact and free of cracks.
