This guide is for Magic: The Gathering players and fans of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The key benefit is experiencing iconic Turtle characters and mechanics on the Magic battlefield. A potential caveat is that Play Boosters are designed for drafting and limited play, not necessarily constructed formats out of the box. This Play Booster Box offers a quadruple dose of mutagenic mayhem, introducing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to Magic: The Gathering. It allows players to collect, construct, and combat with beloved allies and enemies, featuring new mechanics like the sneak and Mutagen tokens for enhanced gameplay.

A Play Booster is a type of Magic: The Gathering booster pack designed for Limited play (like drafting) and for players who enjoy the excitement of opening packs. Each contains 14 cards, including a mix of new and older cards, often with at least one rare or mythic rare, and a potential foil card.
Each Magic: The Gathering | Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Play Booster contains 14 cards.
The cards are legal in Vintage, Legacy, and Commander formats, provided they are not on the respective format's ban list. They are specifically designed for Limited play (Draft and Sealed) and are not intended for Standard or Pioneer formats.
The 'sneak' mechanic allows you to cast certain spells as though they had flash, meaning you can play them at any time you normally could cast an instant. This allows for surprise plays during your opponent's turn or in response to other actions.
Mutagen tokens are special tokens that you can add to your creatures. They typically provide a bonus to power and/or toughness, making your creatures stronger for combat or other effects that depend on their stats.
While some cards may find homes in specific constructed decks, Play Boosters are primarily designed for Limited play. For competitive constructed play, you may need to acquire specific singles or focus on sets released for those formats.
Play Boosters typically include at least one rare or mythic rare card. Other slots can contain commons, uncommons, and potential foil versions of cards, offering a varied pull experience.

This is rare but can happen due to manufacturing errors. Contact Wizards of the Coast customer service with details about your pack and missing/duplicate card.
Refer to the official Magic: The Gathering comprehensive rules or online resources for detailed explanations of the 'sneak' mechanic and 'Mutagen tokens'. Many player communities also offer helpful guides.
Ensure cards are stored properly in a temperature-controlled environment. Minor warping may resolve on its own, but significant damage should be reported to customer service.
Magic: The Gathering | Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Play Boosters do not require any physical setup beyond opening the packs. The cards within are standard Magic: The Gathering cards and are compatible with all Magic: The Gathering formats that allow them. Always check the official Magic: The Gathering ban and restricted lists for specific formats if constructing a deck outside of Limited play. To care for your cards, handle them with clean hands to avoid transferring oils and dirt. Store them in protective sleeves to prevent scratches and wear. Avoid exposing cards to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight to maintain their condition.
