FAQs

Does this blazer have any buttons or fasteners?

No, this design features an open-front aesthetic intended to be worn unfastened.

Can I wash this in a washing machine?

No, it is highly recommended to dry clean the garment to preserve the tailored structure and material finish.

What does the cropped length look like?

The hem is designed to hit at the midriff, ideally sitting just above or at the waistband of high-waisted bottoms.

Is the material stretchy?

The viscose-blend satin is chosen for its structure, so it offers minimal stretch and is meant to hold a firm, tailored shape.

What is the best way to store this blazer?

Use a sturdy, contoured hanger in a cool, dry place to ensure the structured shoulders do not deform over time.

Troubleshooting

Visible creasing upon arrival

Lightly steam the garment using a garment steamer, keeping a safe distance to avoid damaging the satin fibers.

Shoulder structure looks flattened

Hang the blazer on a high-quality wide-shoulder hanger to allow the fabric and padding to settle into its original shape.

Pros and Cons

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To keep the blazer in optimal condition, professional dry cleaning is recommended due to the delicate nature of the viscose satin material. Avoid machine washing or harsh bleaching agents. When storing, always use a structured hanger to maintain the shape of the shoulder pads and the tailored fit of the lapels. The garment is most compatible with high-waisted silhouettes, such as high-rise skirts, trousers, or dresses, to fully realize the intended proportions of the cropped cut.
