- Initial Settings: Once paired, the app will guide you through setting up your profile, preferences, and syncing initial data like time and date. Explore the app to customize notification settings, alarm times, and choose your preferred watch face.
Compatibility
The Radley Smart Watch Series 8 is designed to be compatible with most modern smartphones running iOS (Apple) or Android operating systems. For optimal performance, ensure your smartphone's operating system is up-to-date. Functionality like call and message notifications requires a stable Bluetooth connection to your paired smartphone.
Care & Maintenance
- Water Resistance (IP68): Your watch is protected against dust and immersion in water up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. It's suitable for showering, swimming in shallow water, and exposure to rain. *However, it is not recommended for diving, high-speed water sports, or prolonged submersion in hot water (e.g., hot tubs), as steam can affect seals.*
- Cleaning the Strap: The Vintage Blue Silicone strap can be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry completely before wearing. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Screen Care: Wipe the touchscreen gently with a microfiber cloth to remove fingerprints and smudges. Avoid using sharp objects on the screen.
- Charging Contacts: Periodically check the charging contacts on the back of the watch and the charging cable for any dirt or debris. Clean them gently with a dry cloth to ensure efficient charging.
- Storage: When not in use for an extended period, store the watch in a cool, dry place. It's advisable to fully charge the battery every few months to maintain its health.
