This tray is designed for standard shower installations and can be used for raised installations with a riser kit. It is not intended as a standalone wet room former.
BioCote® is an antimicrobial technology integrated into the tray material. It works by inhibiting the growth of bacteria and mould on the surface by up to 99.9%, helping to keep the shower tray cleaner and more hygienic.
While the tray comes with an integrated Vortex waste system, you will need to purchase a compatible shower waste trap to connect to it and the existing plumbing. Ensure it is suitable for the tray's waste outlet.
The tray should be installed on a solid, level subfloor. If installing onto joists, a suitable supporting board (e.g., 18mmWPB plywood) must be securely fixed to the joists first to provide a solid base.
