Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before installation, ensure the vehicle's wheel hub is cleaned of all rust and debris to prevent lateral run-out. The minimum thickness of these discs is 13.5 mm; once the rotor wears down to this dimension, it must be replaced immediately.
Compatibility Checklist:
- Verify your vehicle's make, model, and manufacturing year.
- Confirm the existing brake setup uses 256 mm solid discs (do not attempt to fit if your vehicle requires ventilated rotors).
- Use a torque wrench to tighten wheel bolts to the manufacturer-specified settings.
Care Instructions:
- Clean the disc surface with brake cleaner before driving to remove any protective storage oils.
- Inspect the discs annually for signs of deep scoring or heat cracking.
- Avoid aggressive emergency stops for the first few miles after installation.
