Setup, Compatibility & Care
Upon receiving your device, complete the initial Windows setup by following the on-screen prompts. To maintain your EliteBook:
- Battery Care: While the battery is tested to at least 80% capacity, avoid keeping the laptop plugged into a 100% charge state constantly if you intend to store it for long periods.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth to wipe the screen and chassis. Avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the display coating.
- Updates: Utilize the pre-installed HP Support Assistant to check for BIOS updates and driver refinements to maintain system stability.
- Ports: With two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and an HDMI 1.4 port, ensure your peripherals are compatible with these standards for the best data transfer speeds.
